In collaboration with the Esperanza association (https://esperanza-lotgenotengroep.be/), the BRCA+ network association has produced short informative videos in French and Dutch on hereditary gyn cancers, with a focus on hereditary ovarian cancer. The videos will be published during the month of September on the social media profiles and websites of BRCA+ network and Esperanza. The videos aim to raise awareness on the topic of hereditary gynaecological cancers among the general population. Please share them and spread the word!
Organization
BRCA+ network is a Belgian registered association that raises awareness about hereditary cancers linked to a mutation of the BRCA (and similar) genes and supports carriers of such mutations on a practical and psychosocial level. We are a network of patients and healthcare professionals with one mission: to inform, raise awareness, support, and connect. Esperanza is a de facto association aimed at women with/after gynaecological cancer and their loved ones, throughout Flanders. Esperanza supports them through various channels: face-to-face talks and events, telephone and e-mail, at the hospital, lectures, videos, etc.
