The association Alto, Lotta al tumore ovarico, among the activities related to the international campaign World Gynecologic Oncology Day created to raise awareness against ovarian cancer, will interview Prof. Marco Petrillo, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Sassari, Department of Medicine, Surgery and Pharmacy. At the end of the interview, the Professor will answer followers' questions on diagnosis, therapy and research to fight ovarian cancer.

Organization

The Association ALTo, Lotta al Tumore ovarico was founded by a group of patients who suffer from high grade serous ovarian cancer, to represent and protect the right to care for sick women, with the purpose to reduce their mortality through the support to the scientific research and raising public awareness. Especially, the association wants: · to represent and protect the right to care for women who suffer from ovarian cancer; · to support the scientific research to reduce the incidence and the mortality of the women who suffer from ovarian cancer; · to raise public awareness and to give increased visibility to a pathology that has few treatment options available.
