A special weekend will take place in Bologna, at Giardini Margherita, during the annual flower festival Giardini e Terrazzi https://www.giardinieterrazzi.eu/. Loto will be there for spreading information about Go Day 2024 and gynecological tumors’ awareness.
Organization
Loto is a non-profit association based on the work of volunteers, who are fighting against ovarian cancer. One of Loto ODV’s goals is to disseminate information, making women aware of diseases like ovarian cancer. It was created in 2013 by a group of patients and friends who wanted to initiate a "pioneering" pathway to deal with a disease whose causes are unknown and for which effective measures for early diagnosis are not yet available. Dedicated events, workshops and conferences, the website, social media and the newsletters are the main tools through which information, support and awareness-raising activities are carried out.
